Settle Hub stores ledger data on Cloudflare D1 (SQLite at the edge). This page describes what is stored and how.
What we store
When you create a ledger we store: the ledger ID, timestamps, optional password verifier, and the ledger snapshot (titles, names, amounts). Ledgers are deleted automatically 30 days after the last edit.
Encryption (optional)
If you set a password when creating a ledger, your browser encrypts the entire snapshot before sending it. We can't read the contents — and we can't recover the data if the password is lost. The password never leaves your browser.
Third-party services
Hosting: Vercel (frontend) and Cloudflare (backend + D1 database). Analytics: Google Analytics via GTM. Ads: Google AdSense (if shown) — manage personalization at adssettings.google.com.
EU users (GDPR)
EU users: AdSense's consent prompt covers GDPR compliance for ad personalization. The 30-day auto-delete acts as our data retention policy — you can also clear a ledger immediately by removing all entries.
